m2 was founded in 2004, with the aim of creating dynamic artisan wines from distinctive vineyards in Lodi, the Sierra Foothills, and Napa Valley. m2 Wines fully express the character of the vineyard and the fruit from the vine, as wine that is true to itself. .. balanced, complex, approachable and age-worthy.
Growing grapes and making wine are, of course, intimately intertwined, but we leave the hard work for our growers to handle. We work together throughout the season, working to ensure that our wines are made from exceptional grapes. We think the best Zinfandel in California comes from Lodi, so that's where we source our Zin. Our Syrah comes from Amador County. We make Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa. We also grow Zinfandel, Tannat, Petite Sirah and Vermentino.
Our winery and tasting room is unique in Lodi. We don't have sculptures or bocce ball courts. Since we started, our focus is on the wine and our resources go toward making the best wines we can.
