m2 Business Policies ...
The first rule is - whatever you do, drink m2.
Web site privacy policy
Well, there's not much of one. This web site uses cookies only in the online store section, and maybe in the blog. Those are so the system can keep track of what you order and/or read/search. Otherwise we don't use cookies; basically, we don't know how. We don't use any method of tracing or tracking you, except for the traffic logs. These traffic logs don't show any personally identifiable info except for the domain from which you're accessing the Internet and we don't know what to do with that info except to see how many visits we're getting.
Email List
Our email policy is to use the email address that you provide to us to contact you with information about your orders, m2 wines, events and news. If you're on our mailing list and you want off, send us a message (via email) or call 916.765.9149. We will not use your email address for any purpose other than that, and will not give it, rent it, sell it, or lease it to anyone or any company.
m2 sales policies
If you order wine from the web site, please allow us a few days to process and ship your order. There's just one of us working full-time at m2, and he's forgetful and/or busy. Or procrastinating.
We only accept Visa and MasterCard for sales through the web site.
At the winery we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
We accept checks with proper identification.
Cash is king.
Shipping
We ship wine via UPS Ground service unless you specific, and pay, otherwise.
We typically ship wine only on Mondays and Tuesdays to minimize the time the wine sits in a UPS warehouse.
We don't ship to states where doing so will get us put in jail. Forget it Utah, ain't gonna happen.
We ship wine in cardboard boxes with recycled paper inserts. No styrofoam.
Recycling
We recycle what we can, when we can.
We use styrofoam wine shipping containers during the summer months. Please reuse them or recycle.
Returns
We'll replace the wine you order from us if there is a problem with the wine that is our fault.
Lawyers
We have one. We don't like to let him out of his box.
Actually, we have two lawyers. The second one tells us that our name(s) is(are) copyrighted and trademarked for use in the wine business.
